Electric City Hacks is hosted at Trent University’s Student Centre from November 2-4. Over 300 students come together to collaborate on projects that they’re passionate about. For 37 hours participants create innovative products with software and hardware, solving problems for communities. The event is open to students with varying levels of experience, and Electric City Hacks has no requirements or specific themes to adhere to, meaning all projects are welcome.

37 Hours of Hacking

Electric City Hacks is Canada’s only 37 hour hackathon. Taking advantage of daylight savings time, you get that extra hour to work on your concept.

Want a Break?

We offer workshops, yoga, games and other activities to give our hackers a break from their projects.

All Experience Levels

Whether an experienced hacker, or attending your first ever hackathon, Electric City Hacks has workshops, mentors and the resources to help you bring your idea to life.

Electric City Hacks works with local businesses to provide our attendees with a variety of flavours from some of Peterborough’s best restaurants.
